Life's A Beach!

After the two weeks we spent up at the cottage, I would have thought these kids would have been beached-out...but boy was I wrong! Thank goodness some parents had a weekly play date down at Burlington Beach that we could tag along on. And in the process, cross numbers 5 and 11 off the 'ol Summer Must Do List.

I'm a little ashamed to say that I've been in The Burl for about 12 years now, and I've never officially used the beach. Walk the path, yeah. But never actually go to the beach. Clearly, as you can see, I'm the only one who doesn't frequent the beach.

 

The girls had a great time. They love the water and the sand. You forget how kids just need a shovel and a bucket and they can be entertained for hours. And a little SPF 60 applied liberally. 

 

 

 

As long as the warm weather is here, we plan on visiting as often as possible.

 

 

And just for my enjoyment, here is the cutest baby bum on the beach.
